Our all-natural herbal nutritional supplements are based on traditional and native american experiences and current medical sources of knowledge. We do not add low-effect herbs to create bulk. We use only the part of the plant that is considered most nutritional and health-supporting. The mixtures are designed for gentle and safe long-term use, when used as directed. Horses love the smell of our fresh, dired herbs, and dogs and cats can enjoy our herbal extracts added to their food or water.

Equine care in particular has traditionally used herbal remedies to enable horses to realize their full potential and maintain health. Not so long ago, healthy horses that were free to roam on a large acreage commonly found the herbs and other medicinal plants they needed to stay properly conditioned. Most horses now have restricted access to natural forage, and can not find the herbs their systems need to stay healthy and combat illness. Herbal supplements address horses' health needs.

Each herbal mixture of Earth Lodge Herbals is designed to address a specific health need. These nutritional supplements are added to your animal's food once or twice a day, as needed and in accordance with your veterinarian's advice. Since herbals are a gentle cumulative wellness therapy, it can take 2-4 weeks to see positive results. With each month of use, animals show continued health improvements.

Products may be used in conjunction to address certain health needs. For example, during our harsh New England winter months, we often add our Digestion and Anti-Colic Formula to whatever other herbal supplements our own horses are receiving.

Our team combines experience in the care of animals and expertise in the healing attributes of herbs, with a strong background in technical research. We have been testing and using herbs on our own horses, dogs and cats since 1997 and are working with local veterinarians for demonstration of each formula's wellness attributes as it is developed.
